The Collingwood G&M Hospital (CGMH) is a regional trauma centre and an orthopaedic centre of excellence. We are the first point of care for all major injuries and illnesses in South Georgian Bay. We see an average of 35,000 emergency patients annually. In 2016, your donations funded a much needed renovation in our Emergency Department to accommodate the growing number of patients we see and the increased severity of their illnesses and injuries. Our maintenance staff is working hard to get this done as quickly as possible, but they have to work around our patients, in order to be the least disruptive.

Our goal is to improve the speed at which we can respond to our patients and improve communications between patients, families and our team.
